Dr. Emilee D. Amacker is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and a Major in the United States Air Force. We are thrilled to have her join the surgical team at Marin Eyes, while she continues to serve at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base as Medical Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic.
Dr. Amacker completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors. Her training and experience encompass the full range of medical and surgical eye care, including cataract surgery, ocular surface disease, and management of complex anterior segment conditions.
A dedicated physician and leader, Dr. Amacker brings a strong commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and team collaboration. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Society of Military Ophthalmologists. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and trying new restaurants.
